As with most ideas that change the world, the idea behind the Cobra Group Foundation was very simple: a network of like-mined people got together and asked how they could give something back.

The Cobra Group of Companies, a diversified group of companies including Appco Group, world leaders in sales with a network of marketing companies, long ago recognised the importance of charity and has been donating to worthy causes since 2005. Plus, Appco Group is also the world’s largest donor acquisition company working on behalf of charities and not-for-profit organisations. So they are no strangers to the importance of fundraising.

Many employees and members of the Cobra Group of Companies' network came forward with great ideas on fundraising for important causes, which led to the Cobra Group Foundation being established in 2010 - to provide a clear focus for fundraising for the group.

Cobra Group Foundation has helped many worthy causes such as contributing money to the Australian bushfire and Italian earthquake funds. It also has an ongoing fundraising program, which helps orphans in Laos. Deak Kum Pa has more than 500 children who now have access to education, a better diet and a brighter future.

Our vision is to support, educate and improve the quality of lives of people and communities who would not ordinarily attract the traditional fundraising dollar.

By harnessing the resources across the Cobra Group of Companies our aim is to help change people's lives in communities less fortunate than our own. 

The money we have raised so far with your help has helped so many lives - from giving children in a Laos orphanage provisions to rebuilding people's lives after natural disaster such as a bushfire in Australia and an earthquake in Italy. Together we can start helping change lives.
