About Us
Calvaryland is a non-profit integrated social care centre which seeks to bring help and hope to the impoverished, needy and hurting in society, regardless of gender, religion, social or ethnic origin. Its goals are to:
- Provide practical help to the poor and those needing special assistance.
- To help the needy and the marginalized to be integrated back to society as responsible and contributing citizens to society.
Calvaryland currently operates...
A home for the aged who are in need
For holistic living, the home offers recreational therapy such as craftwork, supervised exercises, poultry rearing and cultivation of various fruits and vegetables.
A home for physically/emotionally abused children and children who need special care
The centre arranges for professional counseling and implements programmes that help prepare them for life as independent adults.
A centre for women in distress
The home for women in distress provides refuge and assistance to help build esteem and ultimately to have these women be assimilated back to their families and communities as strong and confident women.
Calvaryland also hosts a vocational centre for teenagers with learning disabilities. Skills-oriented and on the job programmes are used to develop their self confidence. The goal is to develop them to be able to live meaningful and productive lives.
As a non-profit organization, Calvaryland relies heavily on contribution in kind and finances from the public and corporations.
Your contributions will help provide shelter for the aged in need and for the educational & skills development needs of the children and teenagers.
