Our TeamOur team comes from 3 different generations - the 20's, 30's and 40's and from different walk of life. And eventhough our background are diversified, we put our heads together and agree on this on-going fundraising project to raise fund and create awareness for Love Kuching Project.About UsGuet Ghee is a university student who enjoys reading and drawing. Taking part in sports events was a hobby she didn't know she would take up until she met Marinna, who encouraged her to pursue a more holistic lifestyle. She has volunteered at ACRES, a wildlife reserve, a cat's home, and TOUCH Community Services.Life of a Manufacturing Supervisor squeezes Irman's brain to achieve the best solution. Running is his way to help de-stress and re-energize. Apart from that, being grateful and positive thinking helps him to create a balance life and drive him on with everyday challenges.Since her school days Marinna have been participating actively in athletics, especially cross-country and long distance running. She have been participating in different running events locally and overseas - marathons, ultras, trails and obstacle races. Apart from that, she enjoy drinking coffee, volunteering, reading. She have worked for a non-profit organisation, rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife, educating the society through talks and roadshows. She was in-charged of the Community Outreach department and have volunteered for different non-profit organisation - Singapore Adventure Club (SAC), Mercy Relief, Cat Welfare Society.

A friend who I met on Twitter runs this charity organization. It helps to rehabilitate and find loving homes for cats who were unfortunate enough to be mistreated by heartless human beings. Any amount would go a large way into making their work easier.

We need to raise a total of $4,500 by 31 March to move to a bigger premises and become a full-fledged cattery. And we need your help. This is a huge challenge for us, but it is to realise a big dream we have been running with for a while now. It is about getting a space that is bigger for Love Kuching Project. To read about this fundraising campaign, go to http://bit.ly/1z9HJ1n ] An opportunity has come up for us to achieve this with rental prices far below what we initially thought, which was really an -impossible- fundraising target to meet in order to move to somewhere bigger. We have found rental opportunities at $1,500 per month, which is not much more than the $490 we pay per month for our current foster space. Considering how our market research yielded offers of $3,500 and above, $1,500 is really a steal. However, this opportunity is time-sensitive. We must be able to produce the funds for 2 months' worth of deposit and the 1st month's rental by end of March when we sign the lease. This is because we will be sharing the space with one of our merchandise partners Alfie de Meow whose current studio lease expires in April, and we need lead time to do renovation as well. We are going to run for charity, and for a cause we love - cats! Our LKP Sundown team is fielded by Camellia and Atikah. Camellia and Atikah have experience in running short distance events but this will be their first half marathon. Join us in one of three ways: 1. Run with us, 21.1km, on 4 July 2015 at the Sundown Marathon. Registration fee for the marathon will be covered by LKP. To do this, contact Camellia at [email protected]. We aim to register at $63 per person, and this rate is only valid for February. So if you want to join us, you have till BEFORE the end of the month to say yes! 2. Come cheer for us! We will form a mini finish line thumbs-up cheerleading team to thank the runners for their love of cats! Closer to the date we will Facebook/Tweet/IG our plans for the cheerleading. 3. Donate!
