About Appeal

“Enabling the less-abled to realize their dreams and improve their independence and self esteem through the magic of sailing.”


Why? 
Many people across Sai Kung, Hong Kong and the world will connect and donate a small amount of money to enable Sailability to make dreams come true. Our goal is to raise HK$1,000,000 in a thirty day period commencing 14th March 2015. The money raised will go towards funding our Para sailors’ trio to Finland in August 2015 (Open World Champions) and Melbourne, Australia in November 2015 (IFDS Worlds), the latter being a qualifying race series for the Brazil Paralympics in 2016. We are also raising the funds we need towards the Special Olympics for those with learning disabilities and to help the general running costs and maintenance. Unfortunately, we do not get help from the Government towards these attendance or qualifying costs and therefore have to raise the funds ourselves.
