Dear family and friends, "Let's lend a hand to Mr, Mrs and Junior Turtle", as per the title, I am creating this page to support Turtle Guardian Fundraising Campaign for their turtle conservation effort. Some people have questioned, why care for the turtle? Turtle is cute! Everyone likes cute animal. The truth is other than being cute, turtle is a very important marine animal as it helps maintain the marine ecosystem and our seafood supply. So, how does the cute turtle maintain the seafood supply? Turtle eats sea grass as their diet and this helps to maintain the sea grass health which in turn provides a healthy sea grass bed for the fish, shellfish and crustacean for breeding and growth. If the turtle population decreases, sea grass health will be affected. The drop in the sea grass health will cause the fish, shellfish and crustaceans' population to decline and in the end decreases our seafood supply.
